Drivers who do not meet the requirements may be unable to collect the vehicle at handover, so it is important to check before making a reservation.

You can make your reservation in three ways: via the online form on rentacarsaw.com, via our WhatsApp line at +90 544 581 94 30, or by email. For online reservations, after selecting the date, time and collection point, you can compare prices from 100+ companies and choose the most suitable option with a single click. Payment is generally made directly to the rental company at the vehicle collection point. Online reservations include an option period of 1 hour 59 minutes; if you do not confirm within this time, the reservation is automatically cancelled. Once confirmed, the price is fixed and no additional charges arise at collection.

RentaCarSAW's cancellation policy is user-friendly. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the rental start time result in a full refund with no deductions. For short rentals of 1 to 3 days, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start result in a deduction of 1 day's rental fee, with the remainder refunded. In the event of flight cancellation or force majeure, a special assessment is made upon presentation of supporting documents. Yes, the vast majority of companies listed on our platform apply a daily limit of 300 km and a monthly limit of 3,000 km. This limit exceeds the average daily travel needs and is rarely exceeded for city use. When the mileage limit is exceeded, an additional fee of between 3 and 8 TL per extra kilometre is charged depending on the vehicle segment; the exact rate is stated in the rental agreement. If you are planning a long intercity journey, you can select the "unlimited mileage" filter during booking to match directly with companies offering this option.

All vehicles listed on our platform are fitted with an HGS (Electronic Toll Collection) device as standard, so you do not need to stop at bridge and motorway tolls. All HGS passages made during the rental period are recorded by the system and the toll fees are collected from you in bulk after the rental ends. Collection generally takes place 7 to 15 days after vehicle return, when the passages are reflected in the official system. Some companies may add a small service fee of between 5 and 10 TL per passage.

In the event of an accident, first stay calm and ensure your personal safety. Do not move the vehicle under any circumstances and preserve the accident scene exactly as it is. Immediately call 155 (police) or 156 (gendarmerie) to summon an official team and have an official accident report drawn up; this document is mandatory for insurance processes. Take photographs of the damage from different angles and obtain the other party's driving licence and registration details. A credit card is generally required at vehicle collection because the rental company places a pre-authorisation (temporary hold) on the card as a damage and fuel security deposit. The pre-authorisation amount varies between 5,000 and 25,000 TL depending on the vehicle segment and is released within 7 to 21 days once the vehicle is returned without incident. The rental fee itself can be paid by credit card, debit card, or in cash at some companies. If you prefer debit card or cash payment, you can filter for companies offering this option during booking. Virtual cards and prepaid cards are generally not accepted.

Yes, one-way drop-off service is available on the RentaCarSAW platform. You can collect the vehicle from Sabiha Gokcen and drop it off at Istanbul Airport, from Izmir to Antalya, or deliver it to another city. A one-way fee applies for this service and varies by distance. You can search for companies offering this option using the different drop-off location filter during booking. We recommend confirming availability and the one-way fee before making your reservation.

On RentaCarSAW, reservations are made by vehicle segment: economy, compact, mid-range, SUV or luxury categories are selected. A sample model is shown for each segment (for example Fiat Egea or similar), but a different model from the same segment may be provided at collection. Colour selection is also not guaranteed by rental companies. If you have a specific model or colour request, you can submit it via our WhatsApp line at +90 544 581 94 30 after booking and we will check availability with the relevant company. Technical specifications such as automatic transmission, diesel fuel and boot space can be selected using the filters.

Yes, it is possible to extend the rental period. You need to contact our support line at +90 850 304 94 30 or our WhatsApp line at least 24 hours before your current rental ends to request an extension. If the vehicle is not committed to another reservation on those dates, the extension is approved immediately and continues at the same daily rate. Unauthorised extension, meaning using the vehicle beyond the return date without notification, carries a late penalty of 2 to 3 times the daily rental rate and the risk of insurance invalidation.

International guests are required to present two main documents at the vehicle collection point: a valid passport and an International Driving Permit (IDP). Foreign drivers arriving with only their home country licence are generally unable to collect the vehicle; an international driving permit is mandatory. Citizens of EU countries may benefit from exemptions in some cases. We recommend contacting us before your reservation to confirm the exact document requirements for your country. Credit card and minimum age requirements also apply to international guests in the same way as for domestic guests.

Our standard policy is full tank pick-up, full tank return. When you return the vehicle with a lower fuel level, two charges are added to your invoice: the cost of the missing fuel calculated at the current pump price, plus a 30 percent service fee on top of that amount. For example, if you have a 1,000 TL fuel deficit, you will pay a total of 1,300 TL. It is strongly recommended that you fill up at the nearest petrol station to the collection point before returning the vehicle and keep the receipt.

Yes, chauffeur-driven rental and airport transfer services are available on the RentaCarSAW platform. Chauffeur-driven rental can be arranged for business trips, VIP transfers, wedding events and long journeys. You can send your service request to our WhatsApp line at +90 544 581 94 30 to receive a custom price quote; hourly, daily or project-based rates are offered. The transfer service runs door-to-door from Sabiha Gokcen, Istanbul Airport and other major airports to hotels, homes or business addresses. Requests must be submitted at least 4 hours in advance.
